Community Council Policies

At Tollcross Community Council, we often take issues that are of concern to local residents and raise them with the City of Edinburgh Council. However, unless you have been to a meeting, or are involved in a particular issue, it can be difficult to find out what we have said, or what our stated policy is. Therefore, we have put together some policy papers below that set out how we handle various local issues on your behalf.

Policy papers on:

Community Engagement – Previous Chair, Tollcross CC.

Meadows and Bruntsfield Links – Iain Black, Meadows and Bruntsfield Links Representative, Tollcross CC

Planning – Paul Beswick, Planning, Tollcross CC

Licensing – Roger Colkett, Licensing, Tollcross CC

Canalside Issues – Richard Allen, Canal Issues, Tollcross CC

Welcome to the

Tollcross Community Council, Edinburgh.

Community Councils exist across Scotland to keep Councils, Police and the NHS informed about the concerns of local people regarding the services provided and other local issues.

All our meetings are open to the general public who live within the Community Council boundary.

Meetings are held on the LAST Wednesday of each month (except July & December) at Tollcross Community Centre at 7pm.
We'll aim to post a meeting link about a fortnight beforehand.
