An email on a planning application for 159 Fountainbridge –

We should like to make you aware, that Vastint are working towards the lodgement of a full planning application for the land at 159 Fountainbridge.  We have now lodged a Proposal of Application Notice (see attached).

 Vastint have now included in their plans a substantial office building as part of the Fountainbridge frontage site which would be integrated in the built form with the adjoining Marriott Moxy hotel.  This block would have ground floor activation on all frontages with a rear area of public realm to provide access and a setting for the rear site which will be a predominantly flatted residential development with a wide public realm ‘street’ leading to the canalside. 

 Vastint  shall be hosting two consultation events on 18th and 19th May.

We as of yet don’t have details of where the meetings are to be held but will up-date you when we do.
