Local elected Officials

Tollcross Community Council is covered by 3 Wards for Edinburgh Council (Fountainbridge/Craiglockhart, Morningside and City Centre). Since the boundary changes for the 2017 Local Elections we are now 95% or higher covered by the City Centre Ward and will be mainly working with our City Centre Councillors.

Any issues in the couple of streets that are in Fountainbridge/Craiglockhart and Morningside Wards will be done on a case by case basis with the local Ward Councillors.

The City Centre Councillors elected in May 2017 were:

  •  Margret Graham (Labour)
  • Claire Miller (Scottish Greens)
  • Joanna Mowatt (Scottish Conservative and Unionist Party)
  •  Finlay McFarlane (Scottish National Party)

Tollcross Community Council, Edinburgh

Community Councils exist across Scotland to keep Councils, Police and the NHS informed about the concerns of local people regarding the services provided and other local issues.

All our meetings are open to the general public who live within the Community Council boundary.

Meetings are held on the LAST Wednesday of each month (except July & December) at Tollcross Community Centre at 7pm.
We'll aim to post a meeting link about a fortnight beforehand.
