The policy statement is located on the Council’s website, at the following location:- https://consultationhub.edinburgh.gov.uk/cg/edinburgh-licensing-board-consultation-on-amplifie

The relevant paragraph on which the Board is seeking views is at paragraph 6.2. of the Statement of Licensing Policy (current wording attached).

The Board has been asked to consider an alternative form of wording, as set out in a detailed recommendation from the Edinburgh Licensing Forum (wording also attached).

At this stage the Board has not reached a view on whether or not to amend its policy, and welcomes comments on the current wording of paragraph 6.2, and the terms of the amendment as proposed in the Forum’s recommendation.

Responses should be sent in writing, by post, email or fax, marked “Licensing Board Policy Consultation” and sent to: Licensing, City of Edinburgh Council, 249 High Street, LiquorLicensing@edinburgh.gov.uk

The consultation period ends on 22nd July 2016.
