It will surprise no-one that Edinburgh Council is going to have to make colossal savings in the near future. Hence, the “Planning for Change” Consultation.
How to get involved
Due to rising demand for our services and other pressures, the Council will have to make at least £106 million savings over the next four years. We have saved over £240 million since 2012, but efficiencies can only go so far. We need to start planning for change now, and to do this we need to look again at the type of services we provide and how we deliver them.We need your views now•
