Today, 28th June, Tollcross Community Council among others took a deputation to the full Council to argue against a new hotel in Fountainbridge, supported by if not to be owned by Edinburgh International Conference Centre – EICC is partly owned by the Council. The site in Fountainbridge is on the masterplan and by conversations, Sounding Boards, public consultations and other interventions over the last five years down to be a mixed used mix market rents with small scale shops, and workshops.
