EDINBURGH’S CANAL FESTIVAL AND RAFT RACE 2017

Tollcross Community Council is joing the Edinburgh canal Festival as we have done in previous years, with a stall. We will be around 10 – 4pm to chat, talk everything Tollcross and discuss any concerns in the local area.

Many things are happening on the day including canal festivities and raft racing. Music, stalls, water-based and land-based activities, art, kids’ stuff… Join us at Edinburgh Quay, Fountainbridge, on Saturday the 17th of June for a full day of fun!

Get involved:

Sign up soon if you’d like to take part in the raft race – It’s rapidly becoming known as one of the most entertaining events in Edinburgh’s calendar and there are limited boat spaces!

If you’d like to get involved in the broader festival, we have stalls available, a stage for musicians / dancers / drummers, and would love some more volunteers.

The Edinburgh Canal Festival is a not-for-profit community event co-ordinated by Re-Union Canal Boats, who work with a wide range of community groups and local businesses. The festival is sponsored this year by City of Edinburgh Council, Scottish Canals and EDI.
